Cologna Spiaggia is a seaside resort, a strip of land on the sea of about 7 km, connected at North with Giulianova through the Ponte delle Anatre, a cycle and pedestrian bridge over the Tordino river, from which it is possible to admire various animal species and in South, with Roseto degli Abruzzi that can be reached along a cycle path of about 5 km on a dirt road that enters the Borsacchio nature reserve and then arrives on the beautiful promenade of Roseto.
The two locations can also be reached by car with the Adriatica state road 16 (SS 16).
With an electric bike or a scooter you can visit the hills surrounding Cologna Spiaggia and several characteristic villages… then, last but not least, only 70 km away, for mountain lovers… there is the Gran Sasso!
